I am a former military service member who worked nights at the nearby Navy Base and went to school during the day. My life consisted of work and school. I wanted to receive the very best education, and I feel that LFC provided me with that. I am not from a wealthy family or town. I did not have an outstanding k-12 education. By many measures, I would have been very much behind academically had I not committed to LFC. LFC teaches you critical thinking. LFC expects you to turn in paperwork held to Ivy League Institutional standards. Most of my professors were trained at Harvard, Stanford, Yale etc., and they expected me to write 40-50 page papers in a manner befitting those institutions. I went to LFC following two tours to the middle east, so I wasn't in a partying mindset. I could care less about clicques, they were not important to me. If you want a world class education, if you want to major in History and/or Art and STILL land a job that pays you 100K+, then absolutely go here. If you want to party, and still get a pretty good education, go to Depaul. |
