I was in the 2nd class for CNC Machining and Manufacturing, The Lead Instructor started the 1st class off in a very good way, during the 1st 4 months, our class did not get any hands on opportunities, except to clean the lab for the 1st class, there was a Syllabus given at the start of each module, after completion of the module we the students found only 1/2 was covered, The instructor was unapproachable, he did however make a comment that he did not like the idea of students going behind his back to the Dean of Students and complain. after the 4th Module the instructor Walked out. The one director of students held a meeting promising that they will resolve all the issues, and were working on the issues, this was approximately one month ago, Still nothing has been resolved, we are now in Mastercam the Instructor is a nice person I am sure he is smart and knows the product, but he can not speak ENGLISH very clear and is very hard to understand. so again Lincoln Tech will do nothing to help the issue out and these are Certification courses. BUT Lincoln Technical Schools is not interested in fixing that problem, THE BUSINESS OFFICE IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT LETTING STUDENTS KNOW THERE FINANCIAL AID HAS BEEN STOPPED AND THE STUDENTS NEED TO MAKE PAYMENTS, THE LADY THAT RUNS THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT FOR FINANCIAL AID IS THE NASTIEST PERSON I WOULD CALL IT IN A CONSTANT STATE OF P.M.S. AND SHE IN UNHELPFUL WHEN ASKING ANY QUESTIONS, THAT IS ALL THIS SCHOOL THINKS OF IS THE MONEY NOT THE STUDENT. I HATE TO SAY IT ANY ONE LOOKING FOR A CAREER IN CNC PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE, YOU WILL BE THROWING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY BY GOING TO THIS CAMPUS.also if your going to go to school for a certain trade do not let the recruiter do the bate and switch on you. Run Away as fast as you can.also not the recruiter told me not to worry you have the Math skills this is no problem, Until I found you will need Trigonometry, I never took in High School. and Computer Skills, Just avoid this course, Haas stated they sponsored this program, while they did Haas has not been present except to try to sell equipment to their customers, in the school Lab/ show room. While this course could be used to educate it needs to be reviewed and repaired before I would tell anyone to spend their hard earned money on going.
