My initial intention in terms of academic wok was to pursue my education beyond a BA distinction but I was not admitted into any of the programs for which I had applied. Due to the lack of marketability my field of study has, it has been difficult for me to find work both at the professional level as well as at the lower level(jobs not requiring a college education). At the professional level, I believe my lack of success is due to not possessing the skills necessary to perform the job as required from the perspective of the employer. At the lower level, I feel that employers are hesitant to hire me because despite years of experience within these capacities they fear that either my tenure will most likely be short as I would probably accept a full-time professional job if offered by another organization or that I may be to difficult to mange. I have reached out to the college of liberal arts for assistance in career acquisition but to no avail. I am now in thousands of dollars in debt with no real prospects presenting themselves. I have developed an almost complete disdain for the university's college of liberal arts and would be delighted to see it burn to the ground.
