I couldn't even get into this school due to the amount of issues they had in lack of organization. I received financial aid and the FA department could not begin to answer any of my questions. I was dropped from my classes 4 times due to "lack of payment," yet when I reached out to he FA to receive answers on how loans work, their answers seem to always be "I don't Know." Also, the advisers do not explain anything when it comes to getting all information to the school needed. On the online portal, the most important thing needed to be completed was on your task bar, yet how would a student know that if the adviser never told them it was important. Once enrolled in the courses, the payments show up on a bill and it states you owe one thing but yet you really owe more. The experience I had with this university was by far the worst I have ever encountered and it was extremely unorganized as well. the advisers only know about the classes, the FA only know how to guide you to a stupid website because they are too lazy to explain what FA does and what is all involved. I called FA one time and the women was absolutely no help and she also hung up on me when I asked for her supervisor. Once I stated to my assigned adviser that I will be attending a different university due to the negativeness UMUC has given to me, they never told me anything else I had to do to clear me from the school. I am now facing a collection amount of $1,107.00 due to them not telling me how to cancel my Loan disbursement, which is also holding up my financial aid at my new university I am trying to attend. I do not recommend this school. It is by far not worth the headache.
