Before considering this school, please take into account the crazy GVPD. All of the on-campus cops are way too crazy. As a student I felt more threatened by the police than by other students. They are more concerned with getting you in trouble than actually keeping you safe. This campus does not have a college town atmosphere. There is absolutely nothing to do on weekends and everyone leaves to go home or party at other schools. If you plan on having fun in college, do not come here because that will not happen. If you want to have a social life, you need to join a sorority/frat. So if you have no interest in doing that, you will not party. If you do receive an MIP, good luck. The judge is crazy and has 0 tolerance even if it is your first offense. You will receive an over the top punishment. Everyone stays friends with their high school friends and does not care to branch out or broaden their horizons. Most students are not friendly and are quite stuck up. Do not let this beautiful campus trick you into attending. The food is good if you don't mind eating greasy, unhealthy food all the time. All of the healthy food options are rarely open, and the options are limited. Point of the story: do not attend this university, if you are looking to have an enjoyable time and have a good college experience. |
