Yet again I've been lured into the epitome of the lack of academic rigor and creativity due to clever and false advertising. Should have done a better job of researching this joke of a college. It's so depressing. The campus is an absolute dump, I thought my first school was bad, now I realize that I made a mistake..The college shares the area with the high school which is right next door. Even the large pool belongs to the high school…The computers are disgusting, they have old iMacs from the mid 2000's. I'm paying close to $30k a year and the people here are the typical 'cool kid' loser athlete from high school or the doofus that showed no interest in community college that just expected to have all the content given to them with out putting in any effort in learning something and instantly expect a job offer right after 'graduating'. Everysingle class I've had (just in one semester) almost everyone didn't ask questions about the material. Paulo Friere was right on this one.

The lack of creativity is just staggering and depressing. I've seen these so called group projects that look like something out of a middle school. Poster board and glued magazine cutouts?!? The majority of the student body does some sort of sport and their entire life revolves around that. Cheating is rampant here…its just so disgusting. In my finance class the final was accidentally posted online and literally everyone completed it ahead of time.

The school recently made getting an internship a requirement for graduation. In my opinion, this is just a scheme to take the student's money since they REQUIRE YOU to find something in the Bay Area AND pay for summer tuition to show up for ONE CLASS once a week. Based on the level of intelligence from the majority of the students here the internships most of them get are probably from of some unknown company. It also makes me think they just want to exploit the students for the connections they've made and present themselves as a reputable institution. If they found out about the people that I know they would probably ask me to establish a a bridge for other students to get an internship with.

It's a freaking joke…unbelievable.
