The biggest mistake of my professional career was to go to Lindenwood. I got a scholarship and thought it'd be a great opportunity. A decent majority of the professors are not passionate about what they do and as advisors they're not really committed to helping you in any way. They see being an advisor as a burden. The courses are not challenging at all. Daniel Plate and Andrew Allen Smith were the only professors worth paying for, in my opinion, that are still there. The meal plan is terrible, the housing guidelines and restrictions are ridiculous to the point where you are basically treated as if you were still in high school, and the admissions and academics offices are unhelpful. Many of the students are pretentious film majors that think they're going to be the next Brad Pitt. I highly recommend going to a more well-known university, such as Mizzou or SLU. |
