Jackson State University is the Most unorganized HCBU school. My daughter attended in 2014-2015 than fall 2015. It was the biggest mistake I ever made in my life. The financial counselors are a joke! unorganized and unprofessional. The Business office doesn't work with the Financial counselor. They don't know what each other do or who to connect you with and if they did know. They act like they afraid to work with them. The advisers are incompetent and the system they use to enroll kid or outdated. They don't have online classes in a 21-century world and what they do have it's limited subjects. It is in the worst neighborhood. They take all the financial aid and put it into the food places. They feed them the same menu over and over so they can get tried and not us the meal card so they can use their student card where they allow them to draw from the financial aid.

They nickel and dime the kids to take all of their financial aide. If a student get into trouble they take their financial aide instead of calling the parent.

The crime on the campus it just as bad as the inner city.

They allow the student stay in dorms in the middle of the worst part of the city.
