Campus is actually nice after they switched up presidents. But honestly Moody should offer a general studies year meaning math, science, etc., which would be help if the student wants to transfer. The curriculum is literally all Bible classes, and the classes for the Communications major was taught by those not even in the video media field. The studio was broken down, the editing software was a joke. I'm sure now they must've changed it. But even though it was tuition free, we had to pay 40k out of pocket since you had to stay on campus. I understand the school is solely ministry based but I think I was ripped off as I found out too late that the Comm major was terribly put together. The school had many racist, ignorant white kids, many of whom were homeschooled and/or had never seen a brown person before. Even some of the professors were racist. If you expect to make money after graduating from here, think twice because you won't make more than $15 an hour in a job that has nothing to do with ministry. Nothing wrong in serving God but do it in other ways such as medicine, accounting, law, engineering. If Moody offered those majors the school would be awesome. And many moody students wouldn't still be at Starbucks serving coffee even after receiving their bachelors from Moody. |
