My college experiences have prepared me very well for my current position as well as all my previous teaching positions—but remember, no matter how prepared real life experience becomes your best teacher. I also have early childhood certification and do wish I had taken some business courses so I had more business sense. This would give me the necessary confidence to pursue the option of my own pre-school or day care. The best advice is to have as many specializations or certifications you can to fall back on. |
