Tarleton State is not a bad school but it does have it's cons and pros. I knew what I was getting into when I came to Tarleton ( rednecks, no city, no clubs, not that much fast food, etc), but I just came here to get my education. Pros: You are not number, some teachers are friendly and do want to help you, the cost is cheap compare to other schools, and the Purple poo. Majority of students stay on campus for their 4 years here. The school's population is not that big. Cons: Parking is horrible( depending on where you stay), the social life here is non-existence at times, especially during the weekends. We do have some bars and one main dance club, but that's about it. The students here are ignorant at times, maybe because they are not used to anything besides their small town or country stuff. From what I seen the Greeks do not do much on and around campus. |
