EUP is a jock school. If you're not on a team and came to this school, you know, LEARN something, forget it. Professors read from the same notes they've had for the past 20 years and they couldn't care about their student's success. I sought for a mentor while in the History Department to guide me but no one could take the time to assist me with the major. My first-year dorm mate who was on the Cross Country team got a complete free scholarship because he runs. A girl who I worked with in town had a boyfriend who got a free ride too, because he played on the golf team! How about paid scholarships for academics, huh?

I went to better schools later, like Slippery Rock. Their profs seemed to care and I got a better education for the 1 1/2 years I was there to get a substantial degree. Don't waste your time with EUP. I see on the local news they may be considering shutting down the school due to high costs and low graduation rates. Good! Don't go to EUP! Visit other schools; some actually treat their students with respect; they're almost like a family. Like Mercyhurst or Gannon in this area. Please consider going there instead—for your own sake and education!
