Go anywhere else you'll thank me later. this school is the equivalent of a dumpster fire. on the exterior the school looks very nice as it should when they spend millions of dollars renovating and building it. the problem is this school has nothing to back it up. the professors are those that either lived in grand junction and wanted to move back home or couldn't get a job at a real school. this isn't the kind of place you seek out its the school you end up at when your other options fail. the students fall into two camps one is the locals such as myself who go here that either didn't know better or don't have the finances or desire to go somewhere better. the other category is the out-of-state students who flooded the school after the legalization of weed which only further helped degrade the quality of students here. if you manage to graduate your employment opportunities locally are bleak at best unless you're like myself and work in either healthcare or the oilfield. if you have your degree and try and go to the front range to interview employers wont take you seriously because CMU is viewed as a overgrown community college. please whatever you do don't go here
