DO NOT ATTEND NAROPA UNIVERSITY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Accreditation is always in turmoil, the administration do not know how to run a university, and some of the class content I encountered is completely false and sometimes refuted by modern research and general scientific consensus. Naropa sounds good on paper and in the admissions tour, but buyer beware. This is not a school for people looking to be employed. The education I got at Naropa was that I shouldn't trust salespeople, and how to see through BS with laser precision. My degree in psychology was a joke, full of holes, inconsistency, and at times complete nonsense and pseudoscience. This place is an echo-chamber of bad ideas and misinformation.The most valuable thing I learned was how to meditate, but lets be honest, you can learn that ANYWHERE, and you don't need the brainwashed, guru-worshipping faculty who are still teaching there to do it. Avoid the Kool-Aid. |
