the higher ups in administration don't care at all about the individual student. All they care about is finding more ways to make money off of the students. And most of the kids who come here literally just come to party and go to the beach for 4 years. They treat it like a joke and if you don't fit the same white rich party sorority girl image or douche frat guy image, you'll be in the minority. It's sad because there are some truly great smaller departments here with professors who are actually cool and care about their students. programs like visual arts, dance, etc, are not well known throughout the school but have some of the most genuine people. its just sad because the administration doesn't really care at all about those smaller departments, and most of the students don't care or even know that those departments exist because all they care about is partying |
