The professors, with very few exception, were lazy. Discussions of how to actually gain entry to the field (ie internships) were rare despite it being virtually mandatory for the field. I think of my class, maybe 2 of 15 actually work in the animation field currently and not necessarily in creative roles. At one point during my 3 years of coursework, they didn't even have a 2D animation instructor. For a year. At an "animation" program. |
