Though the school seems to attract a lot of "unique" people, overall the students and professors are the strongest reasons to be here. Everything auxilliary is very poor. Housing is embarrasing, food is bad, and the administration only panders to donors. They say they value undergraduates, but if you browse critically recent events on campus (2018) on the school newspaper "the flat hat" you will see students being punished by the school for voicing dissent and unhappiness with the campus status quo. Students pay about $2k a year in fees to athletics, but sporting events barely have students attend. |
