Really a great place to go to school! The student body was really engaged and there were lots of groups to join. If you like politics, art, music, books, film, or really almost anything else, there will be a group for you. It is definitely a very academically focused school, but if you want a few parties there is that too. They are mostly just a way to unwind and there is a moderate amount of Greek life on campus. Looking back I still have a lot of great friends I keep in contact with from W&M. Most of the people there are super nice. The school's good reputation has helped me get jobs and I am always proud to speak about my time at the College. As for negatives, the food and (freshman) dorms could be better. If you are super into sports W&M doesn't have the best atmosphere, but you can still have some fun. |
