The CMC vet tech program is literally a criminal Enterprise. I can't imagine very many have graduated and found themselves demonstrably better off, except in cases like mine, where the staff, students and half of the pos town overnight became so blindingly arrogant, cliquey and mind-numbingly lame, that it was a welcome sight to leave that pile of excrement to itself. And the thing is, I've made $2.9 Million in the 7 or 8 years since, precisely due to having been made to want nothing to do with the whole damn veterinary industry. Part of it was pulling the curtains back on the fact that no doctor wants some arrogant tech grad in their practice (who in reality knows less about medical practice than I did at the time of orientation) and the degree is worth more as toilet paper than any right of passage or symbol of stature. It really should be criminally fraudulent to sell this course as anything precursory to becoming an actual veterinarian.
