This school has no backbone and refuses to change. In a town where everyone knows your business or will make something up if they do not know, the community's attitudes flood the school. The nursing school cares more about you passing the NCLEX than knowing how to be an actual nurse. They rate themselves a great nursing school because of their pass rate, NOT because of the nurses they put out. If something in the buildings are broken or run down the staff pretends like the problem does not exist. The refusal to put effort into making this a better school has cost them students. The financial aid office is run by people with no experience and they will not try to help you. They will read off options and send you on your way. I did not feel safe on campus and it took thirty minutes to get a patrol car to my area after calling them. There is no 24 hour help. The campus is not well lit. The higher ups refuse to make tough decisions, because it will not make them very popular people. This will never be a well recognized institution until they hire people willing to put work into the university |
