The school is not worth the money. Unless you are okay with being a self-taught individual. At least for the nursing program, I learned everything I could not understand from online videos. The nursing program professors, most of them, were unprofessional, and rude. The dean did not like to be bothered. New professors were thrown into lectures that they had no experience about, could not answer questions, and gave erroneous information and power point slides which contradicted the book required for the program. Overall, I passed because I sought out other means of information. The professors will speed thru lecture, and offer no type of reinforcement to go with their teaching. The only time your learning is assessed is when you take the test. My advice, seek out other colleges. It may appear to be cost effective to attend, however, in the long run it will get more expensive. Also, 90% of the graduating class were repeating students. That's how the money is made. Before you know it, it has been 4 yrs to earn an associates. If anyone tells you different, they are probably in their first semester of nursing and don't know better. |
