Carleton used to be a fabulous liberal arts college, but in recent years the administration has become too bureaucratic and callous. I loved my Carleton experience and, based on my experience, both my daughters attended Carleton. They both graduated, but each had unnecessary amounts of stress and danger because of the administration's lack of concern about their students' well-being. One daughter was raped by a classmate. The other was given Fs for a term in which they were suffering from a concussion and had requested a withdrawaL. Although I was an alumni admissions representative for years, at this point I wouldn't advise anyone to go there.
