EC needs to guarantee clinical spots for their students and grow their medical technology program. You can walk out of EC with a 2.7 GPA and get a nursing degree but you can't be guaranteed a clinical spot in clinical laboratory science with a 3.0-4.0? That's wrong and needs to be addressed.

For about 120,000 dollars for the degree there is no reason this can't be done. A true 3+1 program will prepare students for the 1 year of clinical, which it does but it barely makes the mark well at this time. Things have changed for the better, but there is still work to be done for the first 3 years of academic work.
