The professors are very knowledgeable on the subjects they teach us and are very approachable, however, the finance, academic, health and housing people can be quite rude at times. I have had several issues with all of these departments such as my finance and academic advisors canceling meetings without explanation or setting a new meeting date, the nurse not taking health seriously (I had food poisoning once and she told me to take Advil and rest in which I ended up in the hospital later that day), with housing the dorm room I was set to move into was trashed from the people who lived there prior (garbage that was left over the summer, mold in the bathroom, mold in the washing machine, mold in the dishwasher, mold in the fridge and bugs). They ended up having someone come in and clean but they only cleaned up the bathrooms and the garbage out of the room, I ended up having to clean the mold out of the fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine myself. When I approached housing about this issue all they could say was ?sorry about that have a good school year?. I also cannot count the amount of times I?ve gotten sick from eating at the dining halls at this school, which is quite sad for an institution with such a great culinary program. |
