The Survey and Geomatics program could be so much better then it is. There is a lot of missed opportunities to learn in this program due to Professors being there to long and not teaching, to some that do not know how to operate equipment or software that is needed to complete assignments. Teaching is about non existent in this program. Classes do not go the entire scheduled time, maybe half to a quarter of that time scheduled you are in class. Assignments are poorly explained. Questions in class are frowned upon by one Professor in class and he will gladly tell you so. I very strongly encourage future students who want to go into Survey and Geomatics Engineering not to attend Idaho State University, instead attend a different college that offers this program. You will be wasting your time and a lot of money if you attend ISU. |
