I graduated from a South Carolina high school and enrolled in CCU for financial reasons. I got the Palmetto Fellows scholarship, but Clemson and USC still would not give enough merit aid to cover tuition. Coastal basically gave me a free ride. I just couldn?t turn it down, especially knowing that grad school is going to cost tons of money. I?m here and I love it! My profs are amazing. They know me by name and are so encouraging. The social life is good, especially at football games. I?ve made friends from all over the US. The dorms are nice! Shocker (I know). This campus is probably the prettiest in S.C. Most of all, I?m thriving and growing as a person. I am forever grateful that CCU gave me this chance. Now, my family can pay for my siblings? colleges and I can go to grad school. A Coastal degree is going up in value because the reputation of this college goes up every year. |
