Professors are nice and friendly, wellness center (nurses and counselors) are helpful. But literally everyone else who works as faculty are horrible, especially the president. They do not care about individual students, they care about numbers. I was shoved into a barely-usable dorm building because they accepted more incoming students than they had room for. There are roaches in every building. My dorm building has mice and bugs. You are only allowed air conditioning if you pay ~$180 and have a medical condition; I've been sweating myself to death in 100+ degree weather because the school is too cheap to buy air conditioners or even offer fans. Appliances such as ovens and boilers constantly break. Tuition prices keep going up and financial aid offers keep going down. They'll lure you in with good aid first year then make you go $25k in debt the next. They've been cutting majors and minors too so I hope you don't like art or foreign languages. DO NOT GO TO MCDANIEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO HATE COLLEGE. I've been trying to transfer out for a year but 2 years of McDaniel classes only equates to around half a semester of classes anywhere else because of the stupid way they tag classes. There is SO MUCH wrong with this school, and if you come you're stuck here for 4 years unless you are okay with starting all over elsewhere.
