I've been at this school for one full year, it only took the first semester for me to leave. No one should ever come to this school, it either needs a full restart or a complete shut down. It was the first semester of freshman year and the environment seemed really friendly at first until I noticed immediately I didn't get the room mate of choice when I first arrived back in 2019. Me and my friend requested that we room together only to get a broken promise. Trinity said as long as you made the request it would be given. Great start. Living on campus was complete hell, the security guards were easily persuaded by students to do wrong. My roommate was the worse, a dictator of our room. I was walked all over and when I wanted to stand up for myself I was threatened. Privacy in the dorms are limited, the space is small and impossible to change in the morning after a shower. People in the dorms had no respect for the facility or the other dorm mates. Its a school for pot junkies, I was allergic to the smell of weed and every other night the dorms would wreak of it. My roommate was one of those people who smoked on the daily. The room would smell like pot all the time. I wasn't the only one dealing with a disrespectful roommate. Whenever you wanted to have a mature conversation they would use fear to scare you into listening to them. Even when I finally got the green light to move out it didn't end. One night I was being threatened and I tried calling for help only for the campus police to have there calls go straight to voicemail. Every time I called it was the same, I was afraid to leave my room knowing her and possibly friends wanted to corner me. I had to personally go to the Dean about this for it to finally stop. The people who work on campus do not know what's going on. DO NOT STAY ON CAMPUS. The only way you will ever have a decent experience is by being a commuter student. The best part about the school was the teachers in the English and Language Department, they were saints and I loved them dearly. They were very caring and always wanted to know how I was doing whenever I displayed signs of depression.
