I was recruited from a transfer portal to play football for Emory and Henry by a coach /recruiter who said they were going D2 , would be giving scholarships, and he could see me being the backup running back. It sounds good,but don?t believe anything this school tells you. It?s a money grab! They recruited me and then I didn?t even dress out.I had never heard of Emory and Henry-would never have gone there had they not pursued me.Other players got fed the same line. Even a starter said he asked himself every day why he ever went there because the school was so bad. The food is horrible, but on campus students have to get a food plan. Campus socials-approx 20/people. I was assigned a house on campus with athletes that was spider infested w paint peeling everywhere, but it was better than the rundown dorms. Forget rest- a train comes in front of the campus several times a day and night. I wouldn?t go back even if I started. It?s that bad. Virginia has much better colleges at a more affordable price. |
