If you come to U of M, you get the most of what you make out of it. This school in general has a competitive atmosphere amongst the students. However, through extracurricular activities and other social events, students eventually find their own comfortable niche. Students will have some good professors and some bad professors, but that is characteristic of most public universities. Students can always get help in their studies from tutors to GSI's to the professors. Just remember that you have to open yourself up and explore every opportunity because they won't come to you.
