I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from college. I initially thought it was going to be as easy as high school, but the first week of college made me realize it would involve more studying and hard work. This process took some time getting used to, but eventually I got the hang of it. Just don't get frustrated in the first few weeks. Professors load on the work, but just take it one day at a time. Before I came to college, I was used to being in the top of my class. Once in college, I had to adjust to the fact that there were many people that were as smart as me, if not smarter. That was hard to get used to. People go to college to learn, and it is very competitive. |
