I went to Rutgers College, and was a part of the honors program. I did not want to go initially, but in retrospect, I am very pleased with the education I received. Because it is such a large school, any attempt I made to get to know a professor was embraced and encouraged. Moreover, as a history major, I was lucky to be part of one of the most well-respected history departments in the country. I learned how to think critically and it has translated well into the professional world. I am extremely pleased with where I am now, and am currently applying to law schools, all of which are in the top tier. If you are willing to go out and get things, I would recommend Rutgers highly. In fact, even if you just want to go out and party, I would still recommend it, because I did my fair share of that, too. It's just that the latter goal sometimes impedes the former. All this for a great price.
