I recommend that H.S. students do not select their choice of colleges based upon magazine rankings. Most of these rankings are based upon past reputation or how many published articles the school generates. In other words, they give no consideration to how effective the school is at actually teaching its students. In addition, there is no way these rankings can judge how comfortable that you as an individual will be with the social climate for any given school. |
