Even though the University itself is huge, there are many separate colleges which are much more intimate. The professors are usually excellent and I've found that the size of the school can work to your advantage in class. If you are very interested in a class and want to spend time with the professor, they are typically easy to contact. However, if it's a class where you want to sort of blend into the woodwork, it's easy to do that as well. The psychology department, which is the dept. I am most familiar with, is one of the best in the country. There's way too many things to say about such a dynamic school so I'll leave it at this for now. Go blue! :) |
