College formed my professional life, attitudes, opinions, and most especially, my thirst to continue to learn. Being a student in NYC was a dream come true for me.There was no end to what I could do, learn, experience with Manhattan and the resources of NYU at my doorstep. NYU was the center of the universe as far as I was concerned. I became the New Yorker I longed to be, and that has stayed with me all these years, even though I do not live in "the city" anymore. I feel honored that I have been able to return to teach there, albeit part time. The students I meet are vibrant, well spoken, well written, enthusiastic, creative and compassionate. I get chills when I walk back into those old, sometimes dilapidated hallways, and think of my wonderful time there and the history of learning that those halls contain from way before my time. If you like New York, and can handle life there, NYU has everything.
