Penn State is probably the best thing going today when it comes to an all-around college experience. Whether in-state or out, it's a bargain education and the faculty is very good. The campus is huge and beautiful and State College is the perfect town for this univeristy. Located literally in the middle of nowhere, State College is completely self-sufficent in every aspect of the term. The social life at Penn State is amazing. With the largest Greek system in the country, parties everywhere you look, and 25+ bars in a three block radius, there is always something to do. And, of course, there is Penn State football. Never in my life have a seen a community live and die with a team more than this team and this town. It is unbelievably exciting. There is just everything at Penn State - everything you could ever want - clubs, sports, arts, nature, and, yeah, even a little learning, too. |
