A lot of the complaints I hear about GMU are centered around the CS or engineering departments. I am a gov't and int'l politics major and was in the Honors Program, which gives me a different perspective, especially since my computer usage only consists of typing papers and making charts. I found the resources of the Honors Program particularly helpful; and being in the Program helped ease me into college life because of the small college feel it has. I have enjoyed my years at Mason and will miss it a little bit when I graduate in May and go on to grad school elsewhere. My only major complaint with the university is that, with such a kaleidescopic campus community, I'm extremely disappointed that Arabic is not offered as a foreign language. |
