At Carnegie Mellon it is very easy to have a great experience or a terrible one. You have to make an effort to find your crowd. There is a big mix of people - from athletic to gothic - and it is easy to find yourself living next door to the type you are not. Do not get worried. I had the best four years of my life. I partied a lot and made great friends. I also did my share of class work, which is extremely demanding. Make sure that you work on your time management - or take a course on it. This is a great school for scholastics - and a great city to explore. No reason not to love CMU. |
