UNO is one of the most overlooked university's in the nation. Pound for pound it is one of the better public university's in the South. It's major lack of reputation comes from a lack of student involvement in campus life and lack of pride taken in the school. Our athletic teams, where existent aren't quite top of the line. Academics is the one thing we have to pride at UNO and that doesn't exactly get students jumping out there seats screaming like they would in a stadium
