Aweful!Too much busy work, don't try to do anything but her class, and never go online, because if you are three hundred miles away, better get a plane ticket to meet with her in person to her her worthless comments and still get bad grades.  She has complaints back to 2005, and school has done nothing.
Should do to do well...
Just find another professor please!  I have been writing all my life, and a professional adult learner stay far, far, away.  There are 56 complaints of the same thing on another rating site.  The Dean just takes up for her and states you are “mis-behaving” for complaining. Please do not take her class for anything!
Should know...
Don't know, she changes her mind every time she gets out of bed.  Assignment packets(books) and all jumbled and make no sense.  She is very subjective and feels her “opinion” of everything is right, even if its whatthe “book” says.
Student Competency: Unusually High
Student's Grade: F
Liked Instructor?: Strongly Disliked
The class I took by this “instructor” is online as I work a full time job.  I'm going back to school because I want to change my career.  Having already received an undergraduate degree from a university.  But, this class has deadlines at 8am???  Most online classes that I've taken have deadline in the evening/night.  Does she not realize that most students have full time jobs while attending a COMMUNITY COLLEGE?  If an assignment is late, at all, for what ever reason it's automatically a 0.  She is rude with feedback, or very blunt without elaborating.  Yet, she expects every student to elaborate more.  She doesn't grade assignments in a timely manner.  She requires way above and beyond for a freshman college writing course.  Her instructions are confusing to read as are her questions for assignments.  Also, literally if you miss out one part of the a question she counts the entire thing wrong.  Likewise with essays if you don't meet her HIGH standards she counts so many points off.  If it's not done her way good luck receiving a good grade, never in my college career has an professor been so strict with writing.  Again, lady your teaching at a community college, people go to community colleges to be able to work and go to school at the same time.
