I got my undergrad at this university. Then I entered graduate school in the couseling program, working towards becoming a school counselor. Compared to my undergraduate experience, the past time in this program has been fantastic. It's a masters program, by the way.I was somewhat bitter after my undergrad experience, and really didn't want to stick around, but the faculty in the department really impressed me. They're the reason I'm here. The other students in the program are a close second. You'd expect this in a counseling program, but the people really are supportive and there's a tremendous community and friendship.I can't comment on the other grad programs, since they're all different, but this has been a wonderful experience. Getting an assistantship is kind of hard, since the program is way underfunded. I know that people really want to do more, but financially the university isn't as supportive as it ought to be.
