Date: Jul 13 2004 Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time) (I also wrote a review under the Current Undergraduates section.) I would NEVER attend U of M again (then known as Memphis State, or known by many as "Tiger High") if I had the chance to redo my college years. I would have left Memphis for college and likely never returned, though I can say my life (family, career, etc.) have turned out very well, and I'm quite happy. I can also say U of M had NOTHING to do with it at all. I learned from good friends who attended far better universities out of Memphis (as well as Rhodes College in Memphis) the value of learning. I had to work through college, which did a far better job of preparing me for my career.U of M had far too many students ill-prepared for college work, which made it unpleasant for those who were ready for college. DON'T GO TO U OF M!!
