well personally my experience at georgia southern has been filled with up and downs. As a Minority at the school alot of the time i felt as if i was out of place. The students can tend to be snotty only talking to people the know and are not vey welcoming. After you get used to the people and make some friends(the few that are not stuck up) then you have to deal with the town. there is pretty much nothing to do, the town is very small, so after you get tried of going to the same party and clubs, you will jump at any availble party,only to be let down when you find out its just a bunch of people sitting around seeing who can get drunk the fastest. But hey if that's your style go for it. When you first go to orintation at the school you think everyone is so friendly and the campus is so beautiful, but in my eyes it is all a front. The campus is very beautiful and there is some good things at the school of course, like the fact that you dont have to pay to do your laundry, the food is ok, and the faulty is so great. many people seem to enjoy this school but i feel that it just wasnt for me and i will be transfering fast. hopefully to an hbcu or a school at least in the city. but hey see for yourself you might enjoy it!
