This is my 2nd class at AIU. I'm attending the MBA program and will finish by the end of 2005. I had lots of doubts about the degree which this Univerisity offers, especially about the accreditation: is it valid; is it accepted by other schools if I want to tranfer my classes; is it recognizable by Co. and accepted; does anybody know about this school??? To my surprise, my fellow classmates (in both classes) have the same doubts that I do. We invited the vice president, the director of the career service to come to our class. Their answers were vague and they tended to go with safe answers. Some anwers were straight forward but "sensitive issues" were not. It wasn't helpful at all.

So far, both classes were very easy, an easy "A" I would say. I wish that the Professors would work our ass off, lectures would be more intellectually challenging. I know that it's hard to implement since each class is only 5 weeks long but at least make us feel that we have earn our grades, please. Most importantly, I wish the University would focus on the QUALITY of each class that makes up the degree. If they don't notice the importance of quality and just focus on "something else" in order to lure more students in the school (e.g. high job placement rates as they claimed), they will go bankrupt sooner or later. I don't wish AIU that because it'll f… up my life too.
