Date: Apr 20 2005 Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time) Year after year, it gets harder to enter this school I hear! I got in with a above average GPA a mediocre SAT score, and a laundry list of extracurricular activities. I enjoyed my 4 year undergraduate education at UCSD. I am currently working in the area and will be attending a graduate school program in my major in a couple months. I really enjoyed my experience at UCSD, there's always tons of free concerts to go to and the notorious but fun Sun God Festival!I was a cognitive science major as well as Economics. I like the cognitive science program and recommend it to others if you are interested (or even know what it is!). I found Economics to be pretty easy and really enjoyed the elective classes. Parking sucks..but it could be worse like in LA or Berkeley. I preferred living close to campus but not on it. Living in the dormitory for the first year was fun and I still talk to my suitemates! I'm sure others have had bad experiences.Downtown SD is mostly for the 21 and over with all the clubs and bars.
