I had a very negative experiene with the students and the administration. Neither group, on the whole, knows what to do with minorities, or people who aren't like them. The faculty were generally good. Many of them required you to think for yourself and were very supportive.

If you're a minority of any variety (not white, upper-middle class, heterosexual, intelligent, meat-eating, Republican, Christian Reformed Church…) then you are going to run into some difficulties, a few like-minded people, and a lot of transfer applications.
