Crappy school. I learned nothing. I attended UCLA for my BA - excellent school, so I can compare what a good school is. UCR is not. I was told complete teaching lessons - I was not told how to complete them - just complete them. I could not choose what teachers I went to for my student teaching. My supervisor was a snotty arogant snott who had not ideal on reality. When a school tries to attain perspective students that is a problem. A school that needs to attain new students is not a good school. The school tends to kiss-up to perspective students. A good school is one that perspective students do not need kiss-up attitudes. I was one of the few non-UCR students in the program. I only had one good professor of the seven professors that taught the classes. Oh - and the teachers for the student teaching were crap - the one teacher would yell at the students - I was supposed to think that was "good teaching?" That was what I was supposed to learn? The other teacher was soooo flacky. The schools that do the student teaching are crap schools too.
