Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
The education here is pretty good. There are a lot of great instructors and resources. But the classes are usually huge, so the accessibility to the instructor is usually low. UC system also uses "TA" system where graduate students fill in the supplimental work for the instructor. So grading HW and exams are sometimes done by these graduate students instead of the instructor. Instructors usually have an office hour only once or twice a week, and for the rest of the week TAs are in the office instead. That made me feel like I'm paying college level tuition to be taught by graduate students.I think some instructors are so smart that they only care about working on their economic study (and about their status as an economist) and cannot allocate enough time to teach students..
