For those of us who can't attend a 4yr University from the start, Community Colleges are the solution. Santa Ana College is a perfect start for immigrants who want to go to college. High school drop-outs can get a second chance here too. Anyone with financial problems can apply for a FAFSA, which will pay you a cool $2000 per full time semester (12 units, or 4 classes) on top of your registration fees. Completing this College with a 2.5 GPA will guarantee you admition to either University of California Irvine or California State Fullerton, among a good chance to many other Universities if grades are good. If you transfer 90 units, you will be consider a SENIOR upon transfering! This is not High School though, so you are on your own here, and it's easy to get distracted. There are a few teachers out there who you can tell they care, but for the most part nobody cares if you keep dropping classes or take no more than 1 or 2 classes per semester. Do it for you and your love ones, NOBODY ELSE!
