Major: Fine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
Given my options, and I very happy to attend Antelope Valley College. I'm an art major specializing in computer graphics, and the CG department is VERY strong. The teachers are very knowledgeable in the subject, and computers are all up to date, and the software is industry standard. If graphic art is your passion, you'll learn a lot at AVC. Besides the CG department, overall I have had a good experience at AVC. All the teachers I have ever had the luck to study under have been very friendly and helpful, with some exceptions in the math department. Personally, I find that the teachers are more passionate about teaching than the students are about learning. It seems to be the "in" thing right now to complain about attending AVC, but in the end you'll get back exactly what you put in. Pay attention and enjoy learning, and you'll learn a lot. Whine and procrastinate, and you'll do poorly.
